LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - With temperatures creeping up into the upper 80s for much of late September and early October, it’s felt a lot more like summer than fall in Mid-Michigan.
But that changed in a hurry this week, as temperatures dropped off a cliff, with highs struggling to get into the 60s.
With this cooler weather, the National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning Wednesday night into Thursday morning for Montcalm, Gratiot, Ionia, Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Calhoun and Jackson Counties.
A Frost Advisory is in effect late Wednesday until Friday morning for Barry, Shiawassee, Livingston, Washtenaw and Lenawee Counties.
