MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Police Department is searching for a teenager that went missing over the weekend.

Deon Johnson Jr., 13, is 5-feet-6 inches tall. He weighs 170 pounds and has short black hair and brown eyes.

Officials said he was seen wearing a white shirt, green shorts and tan shoes.

On Saturday, officers responded to a report of a missing teen in the 600 block of Buick Street.

His dad told officers that he woke up and found a note from his son. In the note, the son said he needed to leave.

Officials said Johnson Jr. has not reached out to his parents since then.
