OSHKOSH, Wis. (WKOW) — The Wisconsin Herd has acquired the returning player rights to Johnny Davis, a Wisconsin native, from the Westchester Knicks.

The trade involved the rights to Diego Bernard and Jalen Lewis, along with two draft picks for 2026, according to a press release.

Davis, a former 10th overall pick by the Washington Wizards in 2022, is known for his time at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He earned accolades such as Big Ten Player of the Year and First-Team All-American.

Davis played 112 games with the Wizards, averaging 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds. Last season, he averaged 13.1 points with the Westchester Knicks in the NBA G League.
