One innocent comment from Offset 's 15-year-old son Jordan set off his entire sobriety journey.

The Migos member shared he's been four years sober from codeine after getting what he called a "wake-up call" from the teen, whose mom is ex Justine Watson .

According to Offset (real name Kiari Cephus ), he was often drinking lean or sizzurp—a soda concoction made with the drug—at the height of his addiction when he started noticing how Jordan would mimic his behavior.

"My oldest son kept asking for like pineapple Fanta, but he don't even really drink soda," he recounted on the Oct. 7 episode of Baby, This Is Keke Palmer . "And then one day he came in studio like, ‘Why yours is different color than mine?’ It killed me."
