MASONTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) - An Ohio man who was wanted for murder in Cleveland was arrested in West Virginia on Wednesday.
The U.S. Marshal Service announced that Waymon Donat, age 19, was arrested around 2 p.m. in Masontown, West Virginia, on Oct. 8. Donat was allegedly involved in a shootout in Cleveland on April 5, 2025; during that incident, a round struck a driver, killing him.
Donat was arrested after the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force informed the U.S. Marshals Service, Northern District of West Virginia and Mountain State Fugitive Task Force that he was staying in Morgantown.
Donat was then found to be living in a residence near the 1200 block of Cales Road in Masontown, and he was arrested outside of that home without incident on Wednesday by the US Marshals Service Mo
