Noida/Ghaziabad: To support locally made and encourage self-reliant businesses, the local authorities in Ghaziabad and Noida will hold Swadeshi Melas starting Thursday (October 9). fairs are part of the Uttar Pradesh government’s plan to hold Swadeshi Melas in all 75 districts. The decision was taken at the recent UP International Trade Show in Greater Noida (September 25–29).
During the trade show, Minister for Khadi and Village Industries Rakesh Sachan had shared that eight-day fairs would be held across the state from October 9 to 16. Small businesses and self-help groups will get free stalls to show and sell their goods.
