USA, — President Donald Trump has sent or has talked about sending federalized National Guard troops to 11 United States cities since the start of his second term.

This list includes Portland, Oregon; New York; Baltimore; Memphis, Tennessee ; the District of Columbia ; New Orleans; and the California cities of Oakland, San Francisco and Los Angeles .

The deployment of troops has prompted protests in impacted cities, including objections of Democratic mayors and governors who are taking Trump and his administration to court.
