An scooter rider is dead after a collision last month in a central Edmonton neighbourhood, where he collided with one vehicle and was struck by another.
On Sept. 24, at roughly 9:35 p.m. officers responded to a collision between a scooter and two vehicles, said police in a Tuesday news release.
Police said a 49-year-old man riding a scooter was travelling northbound on 82 Street and attempted to turn left on 115 Avenue when he was hit by a Infiniti G37, driven by a 36-year-old man. The rider was thrown from his scooter and then struck by a Chrysler 200 driven by a 30-year-old man, which was travelling southbound.
Emergency crews treated the man on scene and transported him to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say he died in hospital on Oct. 6.
