MOORHEAD — A truck driver involved in a fatal crash that killed a Moorhead 9-year-old is no longer employed by the city of Moorhead.

According to the city, Victor Port's last day working for the city of Moorhead was Sept. 3.

The city did not confirm whether Port resigned or if his employment was terminated by the city.

“The City cannot confirm whether such data exists as that confirmation in and of itself based on this request could result, generally, in unauthorized disclosure of private or otherwise nonpublic data,” a city spokesperson said in an email.

The city also declined to comment on the status of Port's commercial driver's license, saying the data is "nonpublic and not accessible" under Minnesota law.
