Eight Pennsylvania state parks are introducing a new feature to enhance your camping experience.
On Tuesday, the Shapiro Administration and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced that for the first time, there will soon be 61 glamping sites across eight of the state’s parks.
A first look at the glamping tents was unveiled at a campsite located in French Creek State Park, Chester County.
“Glamping,” a combination of the words “glamorous” and “camping,” offers a more comfortable outdoors experience, often including such amenities as running water, a real bed, and a setup that requires no stakes or difficult-to-set-up tents.
