MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) - A search is underway in a Mount Pleasant neighborhood, after neighbors said someone abandoned a large iguana in Toler's Cove.
From backyard sightings to neighborhood group chats, the residents of Toler's Cove have been on the lookout after they saw what is believed to be a five-foot-long iguana, dumped in the area.
Resident Diana Bunzel expressed that it wasn't just a little lizard, but a big one. "You don't usually expect to see a five-foot iguana on your afternoon stroll."
