Manchester synagogue attack victim Adrian Daulby died of a 'single but fatal gunshot wound' from a 'police issue firearm', the police watchdog has confirmed.

A second man - understood to be worshipper Yoni Finlay - also suffered a single gunshot wound fired by police, the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) said. An investigation into the circumstances of the shooting, in which synagogue attacker Jihad Al-Shamie was shot dead by armed police, is ongoing.

But tonight the IOPC said it has found 'no apparent misconduct' in the case of officers who fired their weapons . A ballistics expert was working to understand the shooting 'in more detail' .
