BANGOR -- There are thousands of people in Maine relying on transportation services to attend essential health appointments. Right now, that sense of reliability is in jeopardy, specifically for MaineCare members after their transportation company, Modivcare, filed for bankruptcy in August.

On Wednesday, October 8, at Bangor Public Library, local legislators met to discuss the future of Maine's Nonemergency Transportation program.
