LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Tuesday’s historic rainfall in the Louisville Metro area is being blamed for a very large sinkhole and road collapse.

WAVE reports drone images near the entrance to Jackson Schulten’s lawn care service are looking much different now than before Tuesday’s storms.

Jackson Schulten, owner of JT’s Lawn Care and Landscaping, says, “It’s very nerve-wracking to hear that a natural disaster happened right out in front of your place of business.”

The natural disaster mentioned is referring to a massive sinkhole where precautions are still being taken, including shutting off gas supplies.

Schulten says, “You know, just hearing about that, it made me very concerned for the people around it, and the other businesses around here.”
