LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Kentucky man who spent most of his childhood in foster care has turned his experience into a mission to help other children, fostering more than 40 kids in just three years.
Jason Thornsberry became a certified foster parent in 2022, driven by memories of his own traumatic childhood and the people who helped him along the way. “We went into foster care about four. And I mean, it was pretty traumatic. Getting taken away from your mom. Even if they were not fit parents, it’s still your parents,” Thornsberry said.
From separation to stability
