FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – As the Florida Highway Patrol continues to search for the person responsible for a hit-and-run crash that left three people dead in Volusia County over the weekend , co-workers and loved ones are remembering two of the victims who were married to each other.

On Saturday, three people, including Jorge Salinas, the Flagler County’s Deputy Administrator, and his wife, Nancy, were killed in a chain reaction hit-and-run crash on Interstate 4 in Volusia County.

The wreck occurred around 9:55 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-4 in the Deltona area, near mile marker 108, troopers said.

Andrew Dance is the county’s chair and worked for Salinas for years. He says he always had a smile on his face.
