BANGOR, Maine (WABI) -A special dedication to a beloved Bangor family took place Wednesday.

Those behind the ceremony say it’s to honor a family known for its generosity and commitment to the community.

Community Health and Counseling Services celebrated the Miller Family by naming their newest program after them.

The ribbon cutting for the newly named Miller Family-Behavioral Clinic took place at 42 Cedar Street.

CHCS is a private nonprofit offering community-based home health, as well as hospice and mental health care.

During the ceremony, Executive Director Dale Hamilton said the Miller name represents a legacy based on community.
