BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police is investigating a fatal shooting on Wednesday afternoon.

The police were called to the area of Tennessee Street, off Highland Road, before 5 p.m.

At least one person was killed. The coroner's office confirmed that they were called to the scene.
