DETROIT -- The series is headed back to Seattle for a final showdown.

Riley Greene hit his first career postseason home run to give the Detroit Tigers the lead in the sixth inning, then the Tigers piled on the power, scoring nine unanswered runs to rally for a 9-3 win over the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday afternoon at Comerica Park.

“I’m proud of our guys because today’s game was symbolic of how we roll,” said Tigers manager A.J. Hinch.

The best-of-five American League Division Series is now tied 2-2, with a winner-take-all Game 5 set for Friday at T-Mobile Park at either 4:40 or 8:08 p.m. Eastern time.
