ST PAUL, Minn. — A former Minnesota State Trooper pleaded guilty Wednesday to federal charges of producing and distributing child pornography, according to court documents.
The Minnesota U.S. District Attorney's Office said Trooper Jeremy Plonski was arrested and charged back in May after prosecutors say he sexually assaulted a girl. A special agent with the Minnesota BCA interviewed Plonski back in April, according to court documents, and Plonski admitted that he began "engaging in a relationship" with a user on a social media app in 2022, and making explicit videos.
No sentencing date has been scheduled.
The Minnesota State Patrol confirmed in a statement Wednesday that Plinkso had been terminated.
