SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Springfield man has been sentenced for a kidnapping case involving a victim who told investigators she was held captive, restrained with zip ties and a dog leash, and sexually assaulted at a home in southwest Springfield.
Nicholas Madrid, born in 1983, was sentenced under a plea agreement to 12 years in prison for sodomy and five years in prison for first-degree kidnapping. Those sentences run concurrently.
He was given credit for time served. Six counts, including charges of rape and armed criminal action, were dismissed under the plea agreement.
A woman from Kansas City was also sentenced two years ago for the crime. Tiffany Lentz was sentenced to at least 18 years in prison for her role in kidnapping and assaulting the victim.
