BELTON, Texas — Get ready to dance because a two-day polka celebration is happening in Belton, promising family fun, live music and cultural food.
The City of Belton is hosting its inaugural Polka on the Square festival, held at 101 E. Central Ave., on Friday and Saturday.
The event kicks off on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
"Polka on the Square is a fun way to celebrate the season while honoring musical and cultural traditions that resonate with so many people in Texas. Whether you're a lifelong polka fan or just looking for a good time downtown, this festival has something for everyone," Belton Tourism Director Judy Garrett said. "We invite you to come out, enjoy the music, and help us kick off what we hope becomes a beloved annual event."
