CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) — A lawyer representing the family of one of the deadly Smith Lake boat crash victims is reacting to new revelations in the case.

Attorney Mike Andrews is representing the family of Jeffery Little in a wrongful death lawsuit after Little was killed in a boat crash on Smith Lake.

The crash happened in April during a Major League Fishing Tournament. Angler Flint Davis was indicted on Friday by a Cullman County Grand Jury. His charges include three counts of manslaughter, two counts of first-degree assault, reckless operation of a vehicle, and operating without a license.

Andrews said the Cullman County District Attorney’s Office “got it right” with both the indictment announcement and the recommendations from a grand jury.
