The Santa Ynez Valley Concert Series will present the opening concert of the 2025-26 season on Saturday, featuring an evening of chamber music by Johannes Brahms at 7:30 p.m., at St. Mark's Church in Los Olivos.

Kicking off the 45th season are Ani Aznavoorian, cello; Robert Cassidy, piano; David Gresham, clarinet; Joan Kwuon, violin; and Jean Smith on horn.

"These three chamber music works are absolute gems of the repertoire, showing the depth, mastery and consummate artistry of the composer," explained Artistic Director Robert Cassidy. "These pieces will be performed in reverse chronological order, though the divine Op. 8 trio is a revision of the earlier composition. It will be a tour de force!”
