The Hancock women's soccer team had a rough non-conference portion of its season.

The Bulldogs are holding their own in conference games.

Natalya Ando-Pineda scored two goals and assisted on another as Hancock beat Ventura 4-1 at Hancock Tuesday for its second straight Western State Conference North Division win.

The Bulldogs moved to 3-4-4, 2-1-1. Hancock beat Oxnard 3-0 at Oxnard last Friday for the Bulldogs' first conference win of the season. The Pirates are 5-5-2, 2-1-0.

From about five yards beyond the penalty box, Ando-Peinado blasted a shot into the net near the end of the 38th minute of the first half to put the Bulldogs ahead 2-1. Shyenne Cano and the Hancock team were credited with the assist. Hancock stayed in front.
