OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. (WAVE) - Wednesday night, Oldham County School Board members finally put an issue that has been dividing the community to rest, at least for the time being.

The board voted unanimously not to allow Lifewise Academy, a Christian group, to offer classes to students during the school day.

But members say making the decision was tough, and some don’t believe it should have fallen on their shoulders at all.

“Frankly, I just feel like we’ve been in an impossible situation this whole time...we’ve been in an impossible situation,” said board member Dominic Cedillo.
