BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) - ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Cleveland Browns are trading cornerback Greg Newsome II and a 2026 sixth-round draft pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In exchange, Cleveland reportedly receives cornerback Tyson Campbell and a 2026 seventh-round draft pick.
Campbell was selected by Jacksonville in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Georgia.
He has tallied six interceptions in 60 games with the Jaguars.
This season, he has amassed 34 tackles, six pass breakups, and one forced fumble.
Jacksonville signed Campbell to a four-year, $76.5 million contract extension in 2024.
Newsome, who is in the final year under contract, was originally selected by Cleveland in the first round (No. 26 overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Northwestern.
