JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Governer Tony Evers visited the Impact Confections facility in Janesville Wednesday.
Impact is known for making WARHEADS and Melster candies.
Leaders are celebrating the $12.4 million expansion in manufacturing, modernizing equipment and boosting efficiency.
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will provide up to $215,000 in tax credits to support the project.
Paul Henderson is the WARHEADS head of sales for North America. He said, "We built a high-speed candy line that will allow us to produce much more candy, but most importantly, it's going to allow us to employ the people of Wisconsin."
Since 2020, company sales have nearly tripled, reaching $80 million in 2023.
