PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Las Vegas Aces beat the Phoenix Mercury 90-88 in the closest game yet to take Game 3 of the 2025 WNBA Finals. The Aces now lead the series 3-0.

The Mercury went on a 9-0 run in the fourth quarter to cut the Aces’ lead to 1, 84-83, and Phoenix eventually tied it at 88 with two DeWanna Bonner free throws with 1:01 left. But four-time MVP A’ja Wilson hit the winning bucket in the final second for Las Vegas and Bonner couldn’t make a 13-footer to tie the game as time expired.

Satou Sabally came out strong in the first few minutes of the game with 5 points, giving the Merc a quick lead over the Aces. Although the lead quickly diminished with the first quarter ending 26-23 in favor of the Aces, Sabally continued to show out with a total of 13 points and 3 rebounds in
