Wife of Haryana IPS who committed suicide, files police complaint against DGP and another officer

Chandigarh, October 9, 2025: Amneet P Kumar IAS wife of Haryana IPS Y Puran Kumar has filed police complaint against DGP Shatrujeet Singh Kapur and Narendra Bijarnia Superintendent of Police Rohtak for abetment to suicide. She has also demanded that these two officers should also be charged under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Deceased officer had also named several officers in his 8 page suicide note.
