CLEVELAND (WJW) - The Cleveland Browns have traded cornerback Greg Newsome II, according to reports Wednesday night.
As reported by ESPN's Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Browns are sending Newsome and a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In exchange, the Browns will acquire cornerback Tyson Campbell and a seventh-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Schefter said on X.
Campbell, 25, has spent his entire career with Jacksonville since he was drafted in 2021. This year, he has 34 combined tackles and 12 assists.
In his career, he has six interceptions, but he hasn't had any in the past two years.
Newsome, also drafted in 2021, was in his fifth season with the Browns. He has 23 combined tackles this year and five assists. This was the last year of his
