DUNDEE, Mich. — The debate over a proposed data center in Dundee continued Wednesday as township officials hosted an informational meeting, one day after the village voted to pull out of an agreement related to the project.
The village council’s decision means it will not assist the township in bringing a data center to the area, but the township kept the discussion going with its own meeting at the Dundee Community Center.
Residents once again filled a room, many voicing opposition to the proposal.
“There has been an overwhelming community rejection," said one resident at the podium tonight.
For weeks, residents have pushed back against the idea of a data center north of the Dundee Engine Plant.
