GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies say a sex predator with a lengthy criminal history faces new charges.

53-year-old Ronnie Williams has been in the Alachua County Jail since Tuesday.

Deputies say he had crack cocaine, fentanyl, oxycodone and marijuana in a home with a 10-month-old child.

Drugs were found near baby food and snacks.

Williams is also charged with violating sex offender registration requirements.

He was convicted in 1999 for lewd and lascivious acts on a victim under 16.
