CHICAGO (WLS) -- After a week in Israeli custody, Illinois Marine veteran Jessica Clotfelter returned home Wednesday.

Clotfelter was detained in international waters while on a humanitarian flotilla headed to Gaza.

She landed at O'Hare Airport in Chicago Wednesday afternoon and was greeted by family and supporters.

Her attorney says detainees were zip tied, denied food and water and questioned for days.

Clotfelter's family credits global pressure, not U.S. intervention, for her freedom.
