LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio —

The Butler County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported assault near the area of multiple schools and a YMCA.

Butler County Dispatch confirmed police were responding to the 6900 block of Dutchland Parkway for the report, around 9 p.m. but were not able to share more information. Advertisement

At this time, the condition of the victim is not known. It's also not known what happened that led to the assault or if a weapon was involved.

The Butler County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
