An escape room mystery, a horror makeup tutorial for teens, and Halloween Bingo are just some of the spooky things happening at Rutland Free Library this month — and it starts with its first-ever Halloween Heist Escape Room on Monday, Oct. 13.

The Story: The All Hallows Key, which holds the spirit of Halloween, is missing, and Halloween is in danger of fading away if the key isn’t found before midnight. Time is running out — there’s only an hour to find the clues and catch the thief.
