Marnus Labuschagne's case for a men's Ashes call-up continues to build after he scored a second century in the space of a week and third of the domestic summer.

Labuschagne cracked 105 off 91 deliveries to lead Queensland to 311 in its One-Day Cup match with Tasmania at Allan Border Field on Thursday.

It came just days after he scored 160 off 206 balls in Queensland's Sheffield Shield draw with Tasmania.

Labuschagne made 130 (118) in the Bulls' One-Day Cup opener against Victoria last month.

He is competing with the likes of Sam Konstas, Cameron Bancroft, Marcus Harris, Nathan McSweeney, Jake Weatherald and Matt Renshaw to partner Usman Khawaja as opener for the five-Test series against England.
