The friend of an RGU graduate who was allegedly killed in the United States has slammed the man accused of killing her for not 'giving her dignity in life and death.'

June Bunyan , who is originally from the Isle of Arran , was allegedly murdered by her husband last month in Los Angeles, California.

Jonathan Renteria, 25, is currently behind bars after he was arrested by Los Angeles Police Department detectives and charged on suspicion of murder, disinterment, mutilation and sexual contact with human remains.

Now, a friend of June's has slammed Renteria - who previously pled not guilty to the charges in a court appearance - during a hearing where as bail was set at nearly £3million ($4million).
