Backlash Prompts Director to Act Ahead of ‘Roi Roi Binale’ Release
In response to public outrage, film director Rajesh Bhuyan on Wednesday announced that scenes featuring individuals arrested in connection with the death of Zubeen Garg will be completely removed from the late singer’s final film, Roi Roi Binale.
The decision comes amid growing protests over the inclusion of Shekhar Jyoti Goswami (Zubeen’s bandmate), Siddharth Sharma (his manager), and Amrit Prabha Mahanta (co-singer), all of whom were recently taken into custody as part of the ongoing investigation into the music icon’s untimely demise.
Bhuyan stated that they have heard the people, and will not do anything that causes hurt or discontent. Bhuyan stated that, Zubeen Garg always stood with the people, spoke for the people
