Nobody keeps Delbarton down for very long. After losing three of its last four games, the top-seeded Green Wave surged in the Morris County Tournament on Oct. 7. Nearly all the top seeds cruised, except No. 5 Montville which was upset in overtime by 12th-seeded Morristown.

No. 11 Pope John pulled off the biggest upset in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex , tournament thanks to a goal by freshman Ethan Nowak .
