Israel and Hamas have agreed to the first phase of President Donald Trump's peace plan, which includes the release of hostages and a military withdrawal from Gaza.
According to Trump , hostages in Gaza could be released as early as Monday, and he is considering traveling to the Middle East as ceasefire talks continue.
The 20-point peace plan involves Hamas releasing all 48 hostages, 20 of whom are believed by Israel to be alive, in exchange for 250 Palestinian prisoners. Additionally, the Israeli military will begin to withdraw from the majority of Gaza.
