OMAHA, Neb. —
Local ice cream shops are a Midwest favorite, but what happens when the weather gets too cold for ice cream?
We caught up with a local business that's in its last week of the season to see how they stay busy in the winter.
"Usually, we're coming in and we're cleaning up everything and fixing things that are broken. I mean, throughout the year, things just get run down. And so we come through and kind of revitalize it all and get ready for spring," said Dairy Chef general manager Michael Ozmun.
When they open their doors once again, you can expect to see a change.
"We're going to try and get a good cover over the patio, so that way people are shaded and not in the blazing sun in the middle of the summer, and I think that'll be a big difference to people," said Ozmun.
