Nigerian Arrested in Goa for Possession of Narcotics W/ ₹2.5 Cr

SIOLIM: In the early hours today, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC), following specific intelligence, arrested 24-year-old Nigerian national Chigozie Innocent Nzedigwe from his residence in Oxel, Siolim, Bardez, Goa. The accused was found in illegal possession of 1.1623 kg of cocaine, valued at ₹2.32 crore, and 106.2 grams of ecstasy powder, worth ₹21.24 lakh, taking the total market value of the seizure to approximately ₹2.54 crore.

The ANC has been monitoring individuals previously released on bail, including Nzedigwe, who was earlier arrested in October for possession of varying quantities of cocaine and ecstas
