In a major political realignment in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) in Assam, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has joined hands with Hagrama Mohilary’s Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) to form the new council government, sidelining the Pramod Boro-led UPPL to the opposition.
