We are well into the fall season now, and with that comes the end of some sports seasons at Emporia High School. One of those seasons coming to a close soon is girls’ golf as they have one last event before Regionals. In the second-to-last tournament before Regionals, the team competed at the Manhattan Invitational, where they bounced back from a tough State preview tournament.

The results from the Stagg Hill Golf Club in Manhattan saw junior Kelsey Shull shoot 113 on the day. Coming into the event, there was a switch in the lineup as sophomore Sofia Henning got the other spot, and she would shoot a 128 in her second varsity event of the season. Those days would place them in 45th and 51st place at the tournament.
