HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — Henderson Water Utility crews will be replacing a damaged fire hydrant Thursday night at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Watson Lane, near the Donut Bank.
The work is scheduled to begin around 8 p.m. and is expected to take about eight hours, with water service restored by Friday morning.
Approximately 18 businesses along U.S. 41, from Watson Lane to Audubon Park, will be affected by the temporary water shutdown.
HWU says all impacted businesses are being contacted directly.
Once service is restored, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect for those affected customers.
Officials say crews will work in the grassy area near the intersection and access the site through a nearby parking lot.
No road closures are planned.
HWU thanks customers for their patience as
