OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — Drivers should prepare for lane closures along northbound Interstate 165 in Ohio County as concrete repair work gets underway later this week.
A contractor working for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to begin repairs along a 17.7-mile stretch of the interstate, starting Thursday, October 9th.
Crews will close about one mile of the northbound slow lane each day between the 35 and 47.7 mile markers.
Each closure will remain in place for roughly 24 hours to allow the concrete to properly cure before moving to the next section.
The project is expected to be completed by Wednesday, October 15th.
Drivers should use caution in the work zone and be prepared for possible delays.
