An man accused of planning ' pure, unadulterated terrorism' on members of the Jewish community “hero-worshipped” the mastermind of the 2015 Paris attacks, a court has heard.

Walid Saadaoui, 38, and Amar Hussein, 52, are alleged to have intended to use a 'big truck' and an arsenal of automatic weapons to kill as many people as they could in Manchester, and across the north west.

A trial at Preston Crown Court has been told how Saadaoui had access to “fierce weapons” - which were the type used across the French capital when 130 were killed and hundreds more were injured.
