Thirteen people were arrested, and four police officers injured, during a pro-Palestinian protest on Boston Common Tuesday evening that moved onto other streets, police said.
Eight men and five women were arrested, but the charges they face will not likely be announced until Wednesday morning, said Sergeant Detective John Boyle, the department’s chief spokesperson.
None of those arrested were identified late Tuesday night.
The extent of injuries to the four officers were not known. Two were taken to hospitals with reports of broken bones, Boyle said in a statement.
None of the officers’ injuries are believed to be life-threatening, he said.
