Amalia Amico scored with 4 seconds left as the East Providence girls soccer team beat Coventry 1-0 during a grueling Division 2 home game on Tuesday night. Amico, a junior co-captain that plays attacking midfielder beat Coventry goalkeeper Leah Lapham assisted by midfielder Victoria Capelo during a skirmish in front of the Oakers goal mouth with just four seconds left to play.

"Amalia made a darting run behind an Eva Fontaine check in," said Townies head coach Mateo Andrade describing the play. "Victoria clipped the ball behind Eva and the defender to Amalia. Then Amalia took a touch and smacked the ball home."
